Do I need a coach to use Afitpilot?
No. The Self-coached tier is built for solo athletes. The AI generates and regenerates your plan, tracks your load and readiness, and adapts to what actually happens in your week. A human coach is optional and one click away when you want one.
How is Afitpilot different from a generic workout app?
Most workout apps generate sessions in isolation. Afitpilot builds a periodized plan — macrocycle, mesocycles, microcycles — and regenerates it weekly based on your actual sessions, sRPE, and Hooper-Mackinnon readiness. The reasoning behind each block is visible to you, not hidden behind a black box.
What sports does Afitpilot support?
Strength, endurance, and hybrid training. The plan engine treats sessions as a mix of modalities (strength, endurance, mixed) and balances them across the week. Powerlifting, running, cycling, CrossFit-style training, hybrid athletes — all first-class.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
Sign up with email, no credit card required. Full access to plan generation, regeneration, sRPE / AU tracking, and Hooper readiness for 14 days. Add a card before the trial ends to continue at €19/month, or do nothing and your account converts to read-only with your data preserved.
What is sRPE and why does Afitpilot use it?
Session RPE is a 1-10 effort rating you give after a session. Multiplied by duration, it produces a load score in Arbitrary Units (AU) — the Foster method, validated across team sports and endurance research. It's the most universal way to compare a strength day to a cardio day on the same axis.
Can I export my training data?
Yes. Your full history — sessions, RPE, load curve, plan version history, context events — is exportable at any time. Data portability is a core principle; we don't lock your record inside the platform.
