Balanced Endomorph
Código:BEn
Endomorphy dominant; mesomorphy and ectomorphy equal and both lower. The rounded, lighter-framed build.
Descripción
The balanced endomorph has high endomorphy with mesomorphy and ectomorphy roughly tied and both lower. The silhouette is rounded and full without being either particularly muscular or particularly linear: a 'soft middle' build.
It appears in adults of either sex across a wide range of populations, particularly in sedentary contexts where high relative fatness is not offset by either trained muscle or genetic linearity.
Compared to its neighbours, the balanced endomorph reads as more uniformly round than the ectomorphic endomorph (which is taller and lighter-boned) and less athletic than the mesomorphic endomorph (which carries more muscle underneath).
From a coaching standpoint, this type benefits markedly from any combination of resistance training and conditioning: mesomorphy starts low, so even modest training produces visible change in body composition over months rather than years.
